Curious and elegant Louis XVI style bureau at the end of the 18th century. The curiosity contained in this bureau is the retractable chair which allows the bureau to become a desk. The structure of the cabinet was built by hand in solid fir wood, all covered in chestnut burl, maple fillet and walnut band, all 3 mm thick. The covering woods were cold glued and fixed with nails which were subsequently removed by hand. In the right side door there is a compartment divided by a wooden shelf, while in the left door there are two drawers. The carved lowering was enhanced by the application of gold leaf.
